Hong Kong businessman Philip Lee, the husband of actress Myolie Wu, has rubbished rumours of infidelity after pictures of him embracing several women in a lounge went viral on social media.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday (March 19), Lee, who recently celebrated his 52nd birthday, said: "Photo angles are very misleading. Might even make you look like you’re doing something you're not."

The entrepreneur added that he's a "big hugger" and encouraged everyone to hug their family, friends and colleagues.

"Just like I did for my birthday in a lounge bar because that's where many people have birthday drinks with a few of their close family, friends and colleagues.

"And I would do it all over again because anyone who knows me well also knows I'm a big hugger."

His post was accompanied by a picture, captioned: "Research says hugging boosts oxytocin, the cuddle hormorne that reduces inflammation, stress and pain."

Wu, 45, supported Lee's post and left a like.

Earlier this week, Hong Kong media reported that Lee was seen "behaving intimately" with a few women while partying, with his wife allegedly absent from the event.

Lee and Wu, who married in 2015 after a year of dating, have three sons together.
