Shila Amzah’s dream comes true: duets with Wang Leehom and receives his praise

Shila Amzah's dream of performing a duet with her idol, Wang Leehom, came true when she was invited to sing with him at The Free Show event, which recently took place in Kuala Lumpur.

Shila, whose full name is Nurshahila Amir Amzah, 34, described the opportunity as proof that no dream is impossible to achieve.

She also expressed her gratitude to Wang for inviting her as a guest performer.

"Thank you so much for having me ... dreams do come true," she shared the moment through a post on her Instagram Story.

Wang also praised Shila’s vocal strength during their duet performance of the song Forever Love on his Instagram.

"Huge thanks to the amazing Shila for being a special guest at The Free Show," wrote the Taiwanese-American singer.

"I never realised how perfect Forever Love could sound when performed with a female singer.

"This was my first time rearranging the song this way, and it felt so full of warmth and full of love."

Meanwhile, singer Suki Low also expressed her pride in the collaboration and praised their performance.

"Ahhh, I’m so proud of Shila. This performance was amazing!" she said.
