Former TVB star Cindy Au, the ex-wife of Hong Kong actor Roger Kwok, has suffered two miscarriages.

In a recent interview with Hong Kong media, Au described herself as someone who doesn’t plan ahead, opting to live life spontaneously and on her own terms.

When it came to relationships, Au chose to be with whoever she fancied. She tied the knot with Kwok in 2006.

“Because I was pregnant at that time, the marriage was arranged before I had even reached 20 days,” Au, 45, said.

Au then revealed that she had a miscarriage days before her wedding but proceeded with the ceremony nonetheless.

“I miscarried one or two days before my big day,” she added.

On her two miscarriages, Au admitted to being very unhappy, saying her initial hopes had “turned to devastation”.

However, the Devil Eye (2002) star found solace in faith, believing God will provide her with the best arrangement.

“I believe my path in life is the best God has for me,” she added.

Au announced her divorce from Kwok, 60, on May 2 last year, revealing that they have been separated for two years.

At the time, the actress chose to have her name excluded from Kwok's assets worth HK$90mil (RM52mil) to “avoid complications and unnecessary hassle”.

Last September, Au told HK01 that she’s planning on taking more on-screen work as she “really needs money”.

She stepped back from the spotlight after marrying Kwok to focus on taking care of their two children – Brad, 16, and Blair, 13.
