Hong Kong influencer Ayla Sham, the daughter of former actress Chingmy Yau, recently paid a visit to Tengku Zatashah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at Istana Alam Shah in Klang.

On Thursday (Nov 14), the Selangor princess took to Instagram to share a photo with Sham, 23, at the palace.

“A private visit to the official palace of Selangor, Istana Alam Shah in Klang, Malaysia for Ayla. Thank you for coming,” the 51-year-old royal captioned her post.

Beyond their palace meeting, the duo also helped distribute food to the needy at Kuala Lumpur’s Kechara Soup Kitchen – an organisation Tengku Zatashah has been supporting since 2015.

Sham later uploaded a video of herself in action, alongside a caption that read: “Happy to help at the @kecharasoupkitchensociety food distribution with Zatashah.”

Tengku Zatashah and Sham share a close bond, with the former often referring to the Internet personality as her mei mei (little sister).

The two friends spent time together in Shanghai, China, earlier in June and were in Singapore in September to watch an F1 race.

Many netizens have since left comments praising the pair’s charitable efforts, while others welcomed Sham to Malaysia.

“Enjoyed seeing you both at the food bank. Thanks for helping out,” said one netizen.

Another added: “So proud of you girls for sharing the love to the people.”
