Suria FM achieves 3.3 million weekly listeners, 10% higher than in last survey

Suria FM has achieved an impressive feat by attracting over 3.3 million weekly listeners.

According to the latest GFK Radio Hearing Measurement survey, Wave 2 2024, this figure is 10% higher than the one recorded in the previous survey.

The Suria Cinta segment, hosted by DJ Lin every Sunday to Friday from 8pm to 1am, recorded the highest increase in weekly listeners among Suria FM’s key segments – with a jump of 341,000 listeners.

This was followed by the Gaya Suria and Muzik Top Suria segments, hosted by Cik Piah on weekdays from 10am to 3pm, which saw an increase of 303,000 listeners.

The Morning Morning Suria segment, led by Ajak, Datuk Fizz Fairuz and Suraya from 6am to 10am on weekdays, recorded a rise of 170,000 listeners.

Meanwhile, the Suria Petang segment, presented by Sharifah Shahirah, Chiwan and Kai Hassan from 3pm to 7pm on weekdays, saw an increase of 152,000 listeners.

Additionally, Suria Cinta also recorded the highest gain in exclusive listeners among Malay-language radio stations, with an increase of 184,000 listeners.

This was followed by the Suria Petang segment, with a 32% increase, Gaya Suria and Muzik Top Suria, with a 29% increase, and Morning Morning Suria, with a 15% increase.

Suria Cinta is also the segment with the highest Weekly Time Spent Listening (TSL) among Suria FM’s key segments, clocking in at 3 hours and 11 minutes.

The station’s weekend segments saw impressive growth as well, attracting an additional 231,000 listeners compared to Wave 1 2024.

Commenting on this achievement, DJ Lin, who also serves as the general manager of Suria FM, expressed gratitude to all parties and loyal listeners for their continuous support.
