Malaysian singers Firdhaus Farmizi and Diorlying Tan have broken up after four years together, China Press reported.

This comes a day after Firdhaus' manager denied rumours of their split.

In a joint Instagram post on Wednesday (Oct 16), the former couple shared that the breakup was in their best interests.

The pair added that they are personally addressing the matter as there have been many rumours circulating on social media.

"Over the past few years, we've grown from nothing to something, and we're grateful for the love everyone has shown us.

"We don't know what the future holds, but we'll continue striving to create more good works. Everything is for the best. Things will get better," they wrote.

Tan also posted on her Instagram Story, urging people not to speculate about their breakup and to allow them to move forward.

"We are all great, each flying our own way," she wrote.

Rumours of Firdhaus and Tan's split surfaced on Oct 13 after netizens noticed the pair sitting separately at local singer Caven's wedding.

The speculations heated up the next day when Firdhaus, 25, hinted that he had broken up.

Firdhaus and Tan went public with their relationship in 2023, revealing that they had been dating for three years.

The duo first worked together on the song Another Heaven, originally performed by American singer Wang Leehom, and later collaborated on the hit track Divorce In Ghana.
