Hong Kong actor Benjamin Yuen recently came to Malaysia for work and made full use of his free time to explore the country.

On Monday (Sept 23), Yuen took to Instagram to post several photos of himself at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

The TVB star, dressed in a black tank top and shorts of the same colour, also shared a video of his visit to the mall on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu.

“There weren’t many people in the morning. It was nice,” said the 43-year-old, who's married to actress Bowie Cheung.

Aside from KL, Yuen was also spotted in Melaka.

On Sept 21, a Xiaohongshu user posted a photo with Yuen near the historical Stadthuys building in Bandar Hilir.

The A Fist Within Four Walls star was seen in a white t-shirt, a pair of black sweatpants, a grey cap and tinted glasses.

Another lucky fan who had a chance encounter with Yuen in Melaka also shared a picture with the actor on social media, describing him as “charming” and “mature”.

The fan captioned his post: “He was very patient when taking photos with fans! So handsome!”

Many fans have left comments welcoming Yuen to Malaysia while others hoped to bump into him during his time here.

"Enjoy your time in Malaysia," one netizen said.

"So many people are bumping into him. I want to take a photo with him too," another commented.

"Please come to Ipoh as well," said a third.
