Hong Kong actor Ruco Chan has given a couple a wedding gift they will never forget.

According to reports, Chan and his wife, former Miss Hong Kong Phoebe Sin, made a surprise appearance at his friend’s wedding in a Kuala Lumpur hotel on Dec 3.

It was there the actor delivered a beautiful rendition of Your Name, My Surname – originally performed by Hong Kong’s God of Songs, Jacky Cheung.

As seen in multiple videos shared on social media, Chan, who sported an all-black ensemble, had guests on cloud nine with his performance.

The venue seemingly transformed into a concert hall as guests waved their cell phones with the flashlights on and cheered for the TVB star.

On Chinese social networking platform Xiaohongshu, one guest expressed happiness at getting the opportunity to see a superstar up close.

“I usually see celebrities singing at weddings online. Who would’ve thought I’d have the chance to experience the same thing. I’m so happy!” she wrote.

She added that Chan was very handsome in person.

“It’s a pity that I didn’t have the opportunity to take photos (with you), but I’m content with just seeing you.”

Chan and the wedding hosts have been close friends and business partners for many years.

According to China Press, the actor wore a suit from a Malaysian brand for his wedding to Sin, 33, in 2018.

The report added that one of the bride’s relatives is a designer for said brand, and this surprise was his gift for her.

Meanwhile, several netizens on social media said they spotted Chan hanging around KLCC recently. Others also expressed desire to cross paths with the actor during his stay in Malaysia.
