Indonesian actress Irish Bella has filed for divorce from her husband, Ammar Zoni, according to reports from the Indonesian media.

The divorce was initiated a month after Ammar was released from prison for a drug-related offense. This information was confirmed by Judge Kamal Syarif of the Depok Religious Court in Indonesia, noted an article by mStar – The Star's Malay-language portal.

"The divorce file was opened on Nov 6, 2023," said Kamal Syarif. Their first trial took place on Nov 16, but neither party was present, the report said.

Rumours of the couple's separation had surfaced when Ammar, in mid-October, announced that he was no longer living with his wife since his release from prison.

Currently, they are both staying at their respective family homes.

Irish and Ammar officially tied the knot on April 28, 2019. From their marriage, they have two children.
