Hong Kong-based artiste Alex Lam, the son of renowned singer George Lam, has tied the knot with his girlfriend of five years,Candace, in a private ceremony on Thursday (Nov 16).
Photographs from the wedding have surfaced online, with some shots sparking pregnancy rumours due to Candace’s abdomen appearing slightly protruded.
The wedding, attended by family and close friends, also saw George serenading the newlyweds with several songs to extend his heartfelt congratulations.
The performance deeply moved Alex, who – along with his wife – then approached and embraced the 76-year-old.
Candace is a seasoned sake sommelier. The couple met in 2017 and have dated for since.
According to reports, Alex was captivated by Candace’s optimistic personality. Their shared love for fitness also strengthened their relationship.
Alex, 38, had previously expressed a desire to settle down and start a big family after marriage.
Candace has also integrated well into the Lam family, as seen in photos of family gatherings.
