Hong Kong actress Charmaine Sheh is currently in Malaysia to shoot her new drama, Modern Dynasty 2.

Filming is expected to wrap up in September, with most of the scenes taking place around Kuala Lumpur.

During her time in Malaysia, Sheh, 48, took the opportunity to indulge in her durian cravings with her co-star Benz Hui, 74, and two other Malaysian friends.

In a recent update on Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu, the actress shared a photo of herself posing in front of a durian store.

Her post was accompanied by a caption that read: "Still filming in Malaysia. Since it's the durian season, I obviously won't pass up the opportunity (to enjoy the fruit)."

Sheh added that she tried six different types of durians in a single seating – including the Red Prawn, Black Thorn, Musang King, Tekka, Hor Lor and XO.

She also shared that the Black Thorn durian was her favourite.

"I have no regrets in life now, haha!" she wrote.

On Wednesday (Aug 23), Sheh was spotted frying kuey teow at a roadside stall in Kuala Lumpur.

The actress, who's especially fond of Malaysian cuisines, also shared a photo of herself enjoying the famous Penang prawn noodles on her Xiaohongshu account.

On Aug 16, Sheh was reported to have dined with her co-stars, Candice Yu, 63, and Raymond Lam and his family.

The former TVB star also expressed happiness after receiving bouquets of flowers and a durian cake as a welcome gift upon her arrival in Malaysia early July.

Meanwhile, Sheh's co-stars Lam, 43, and Him Law also seem to be making the most of their time in Malaysia.

On Aug 7, Lam took his wife, Chinese model Carina Zhang, 33, and their two-year-old daughter Luna family to a petting zoo in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

Early this month, Law, 38, expressed happiness after receiving a surprise visit from his wife, actress Tavia Yeung, and their two children on the set of Modern Dynasty 2.

According to reports, Yeung, 43, brought their children here as they had not seen their father for nearly a month due to his busy work schedule.
