It may be Kim Seon-ho's first time in Malaysia but the South Korean actor has already fallen in love with the country.

On Aug 17, the 37-year-old arrived in Malaysia for his Kim Seon-ho Asia Tour in Kuala Lumpur: One, Two, Three, Smile event at the Mega Star Arena.

During the meet-and-greet session on Aug 18, Kim expressed his love for the delicious cuisines in Malaysia.

"I found the cendol to be particularly delightful. Its taste was very refreshing. I managed to try the teh tarik and nasi lemak too.

"Many have recommended the nasi lemak because of its unique sambal taste," he said, adding that he had specially requested to try the iconic dish before the fan meet.

During the event, Kim conveyed his fondness for the local climate, which – according to him – is currently cooler than in South Korea.

"The weather here is a little cooler. Throughout this tour, I have visited several countries and would always compare the weather to that of South Korea," he said.

Describing himself as a "foodie at heart", the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021) star picked Jalan Alor in Bukit Bintang as his favourite location.

On Aug 20, Kim made an Instagram update where he shared two photos of himself posing at Dataran Merdeka and in front of the Suria KLCC shopping mall.

Several lucky fans who managed to catch the actor strolling around Kuala Lumpur also praised the friendly star for greeting them.

Meanwhile, Kim's agency Salt Entertainment has posted a photo of the Two Cops (2017) star at Dataran Merdeka alongside a caption that read: "Remembering the happy memories built with all of you.

"Seon-ho, the actor, is having a delightful time in Kuala Lumpur."

Kim made his screen debut in 2017 with the drama, Good Manager. He has since starred in multiple shows including Strongest Deliveryman (2017), Start-Up (2020) and The Childe (2023).
