Hong Kong actor Anthony Wong recently shared on his social media account a photo of him with fellow actors Lau Ching Wan and Lau Siu Ming.

It was reported that the trio had a gathering that included other Hong Kong celebrities such as Francis Ng, Dayo Wong and Cheung Tat Ming.

Anthony Wong told Hong Kong media that the dinner was arranged by Ng's wife.

"We kept asking Ming Sir (as the 91-year-old Lau Siu Ming is affectionately known among colleagues) out, but in recent years he doesn't want to go out," Wong, 61, told Mingpao.

"There’s a lot of food he can’t eat, and he isn’t allowed to have alcohol, but he was very happy that night and had a couple of sips,” added Wong.

Mingpao also contacted Lau who updated the publication on his well-being, saying that he went for a surgery and was hospitalised for some time.

The former TVB star added that his body is "full of pain" and he needed a wheelchair to move around these days.

However, the veteran star said he is thankful that he is still very much alert. "I use my brain too much!" joked the actor who has starred in over 70 dramas and movies.
