With the month of October coming to an end, it could only mean one thing – it’s the best time of the year to sit back with a scary movie, or a whole lot of them, the jumpier the better.

But without checking off the same-old, tried-and-true same-olds – Halloween, A Nightmare On Elm Street, etc – we wanted to do a list of horror movies with some strict parameters: one defining horror movie per year for each of the last 31 years.
