On Sunday too, the 67-year-old actor-director met with opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as shared by Anwar on his Instagram.
Anwar wrote in the caption: “Today I met with superstar Kamal Haasan, and had a long discussion with him... ”
Kamal also made an appearance at NU Sentral on Sunday afternoon where he was met with a huge crowd.
The Indian superstar left Malaysia on Monday. It's reported that his next stop was Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Earlier this month, he attended the Cannes Market in France, to launch NFTs based on Vikram from Fantico, a digital licensed platform of Singapore's Vistas Media Capital.
The film's trailer was also showcased at Cannes Film Festival.
Vikram is Kamal’s first release since 2018's Vishwaroopam 2.
The Tamil actor spoke to Reuters on what the movie is about and whether the title is an homage to the 1986 film Vikram.
"This is not a sequel, but, yes, it's (about) a man who's very similar. The film starts differently, its about reminiscing the man and his deeds.
"The title is an homage to the old film because this was my first production in Raajkamal and people embraced it and encouraged me so much and I am still working after 36 years.
"There is still excitement when I call the film Vikram – that reputation comes from the first Vikram and I think we will be able make it even better with this one."
