Siti Nurhaliza ranked No.27 in ‘Most Awarded Musicians Of All-Time’ list, beating Justin Timberlake, Celine Dion, IU

Malaysian iconic singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza is ranked at No. 27 in the Top 100 Most Awarded Musicians Of All-Time, which features international artistes such as Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and BTS.

The list was compiled by The Artist Museum and released on its Twitter account on April 5. It describes itself as “your global leading source on updates about the most awarded musicians of all-time”.

Siti sits at No. 27 with a total of 329 wins since her career started more than two decades ago.

The 43-year-old beat the likes of Justin Timberlake who has won 322 awards, Katy Perry (310 awards), Celine Dion (296 awards), top South Korean singer IU (233 awards), as well as K-pop groups Super Junior and Twice.

The top five artistes are Michael Jackson (1,003 awards), Beyonce (896 awards), Taylor Swift (867 awards), BTS (784 awards) and Justin Bieber (720 awards).

Netizens are equally proud of Siti’s achievement, posting congratulatory comments to Malaysia’s No. 1 singer.

“Wow. Congratulations Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza. You are truly awesome to have entered this list,” wrote one fan.

“There is one and only Malaysian artiste who can get into this list of international superstars. Syabas DS Siti Nurhaliza!” commented another.

Siti holds the record for winning the most awards by a Malaysian artiste. She entered the Malaysia Book Of Records with this achievement in 2001 and remains the record holder till today.

Among her wins are 42 awards at Anugerah Industri Muzik, 28 awards at Anugerah Planet Muzik, 25 awards at Anugerah Bintang Popular, 20 awards at Anugerah Juara Lagu, four at MTV Asia Awards, three at World Music Awards and two more awards at Anugerah Musik Indonesia.
