Veteran girl group Apink has finalised its plans to return as a whole unit, according to a Korean media report this week.
All six bandmates, including Son Naeun who moved to YG Entertainment in June, were shooting a music video on the same day, according to the report, adding the group is set to come out with a new album in February.
It has been almost two years since their previous album, and approximately 10 months since the previous song.
Even though Son is with another company while the rest of them renewed their contracts with IST Entertainment, they are each still devoted to the band and will continue to work as a team, IST Entertainment said in June.
The band debuted in 2011 with I Don’t Know.
On Dec. 31, Apink will host a fan meeting event and, as Jung Eunji said in a recent interview, “will meet fans face-to-face and comfort them.” – The Korea Herald/Asia News Network
