Actress Lee Ha-nee – also known as Lee Honey – got married on Tuesday (Dec 21) in Seoul, South Korea.

According to reports, her husband is a businessman whom she met through acquaintances early this year.

Her agency said in a statement that the couple held a private wedding ceremony, attended only by their respective family members.

“We are relaying good news regarding our label’s actress Lee Ha-nee," read the statement as translated by a Korean media.

“She met a precious person and they promised to become lifelong partners based on trust and affection for each other.

“As Lee’s husband is not a celebrity, we ask everyone to please refrain from digging into his personal details.”

Back in November, there was speculation about a wedding when the 38-year-old star flew to the United States with her boyfriend. One site mentioned that he's a Korean American.

The report noted that the former Miss Korea did not participate in any post-finale interviews of her recently ended hit series One The Woman as she had travelled abroad.

However, her agency refused to comment.

Lee was previously in a seven-year relationship with idol-turned-actor Yoon Kye-sang, who also got married to a non-celeb sometime in August, this year.
