Fabienne Kwan is all set to start her career in the entertainment industry, after having participated in the Miss Hong Kong 2021 pageant.
The 26-year-old – who is the daughter of actor Eddie Kwan – was recently signed by TVB as one its talents, despite managing a fourth place in the beauty competition.
As Fabienne is keen to get as many acting opportunities as possible, she was reportedly thinking of renting a place closer to the broadcaster’s headquarters.
However, her father decided to instead buy her a car for the daily commute to her workplace so that she can continue to stay with him and his wife, reported a Hong Kong news portal.
The article mentioned that the 59-year-old dad spent “millions on a car for her daily commute”.
And Eddie is not the only generous parent in Hong Kong showbiz.
Wayne Lai – currently starring in TVB drama The Ringmaster – is known for his love for expensive cars. According to a report, the 57-year-old owns a luxury car collection which includes a BMW and a Land Rover.
His family members – namely his wife and his parents – also reportedly drive high-end cars thanks to Lai’s passion.
And for his 23-year-old son, Lai Ching Kiu, the famed actor is said to have bought him a HK$3mil (RM1.6mil) McLaren 570S.
