Hong Kong Cantopop singer and actor Eric Chau Pak Ho – better known as Pakho Chau – is no stranger to posting his buff body on Instagram.

The former basketball youth champion and swimming instructor has also shared his workout routines and diet regime on social media.

“Going to the gym isn’t hard because I’m so used to it,” the 37-year-old is quoted in a HK news portal.

“Doing exercise is output and eating is the input. So, it’s important to watch what you eat, because what you eat will directly affect your body.”

Chau is so dedicated to his exercise that one article mentioned that he pushed himself even harder during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020.

Obviously, getting his body to its top condition today requires a lot of hard work. And the proof of that – not that we needed any – came when Chau posted a photo on Instagram of when he was 17 years old.

Needless to say, he’s a different man today – for one, he was a scrawny fella 20 years ago. The 2001 photo was apparently taken when he was working as a lifeguard.

Chau is currently slated to start shooting a new drama in Foshan, China, after having completed his 14-day quarantine period.

Titled Below The Lion Rock: Love, it is scheduled to air in 2022 on TVB. It also stars Myolie Wu, Aarif Rahman and Tse Kwan Ho.
