Lee Min-ho’s agency has denied the report of the actor dating actress-singer Yeonwoo (of K-pop group Momoland).
Earlier today (Aug 30) Korean news outlet Dispatch stated that the two Korean stars have been dating for five months and that they celebrated Yeonwoo's 25th birthday at his house.
It quoted a close friend who claimed: “Lee Min-ho and Yeonwoo enjoy playing games and movies. The similar hobbies brought them together."
Soon after, Lee’s agency – MYM Entertainment – denied this news via Soompi stating: “It is not true that they are in a relationship. They are just acquaintances.”
The agency also addressed the photos of the two celebrities seen together on Dispatch Instagram.
“It wasn’t just the two of them; there were other friends present at the time. They are not photos of a date," stated the agency.
What is known of Lee’s past relationship is that the 34-year-old actor dated actress Suzy Bae (Vagabond) for three years. They broke up in 2017.
He also briefly dated his City Hunter (2011) co-star, Park Min-young.
Lee was last seen in the K-drama The King: Eternal Monarch. His next project is titled Pachinko, in which he plays a villain for the first time.
