Actress Kim Min-kyung passed away on Aug 16. She was 60.
Korean media reported that her agency confirmed her death and that her funeral is scheduled to take place today (Aug 18).
However, the cause of death was not revealed.
An actor for more than four decades, Kim started her career acting in a theatrical troupe in 1979.
Since the late 1990s, she appeared in various Korean films and dramas.
Some of the films she had starred in include Evil Twin, Where The Truth Lies and Hello, Stranger.
She’s a familiar face on television as well having acted in dramas such as The Moon Embracing The Sun, The Flower In Prison, When The Camellia Blooms, Diary Of A Prosecutor and Mouse.
It’s reported that two of her movies – Spiritwalker and 1947 Boston – have yet to be released.
