Hong Kong singer-actress Gillian Chung recently appeared on a reality show and talked about some of her past relationships.
The 40-year-old, who got divorced from Taiwanese doctor Michael Lai last year, said on the show that she’s “the type that attracts scumbags” when it comes to relationships, reported 8days.com.
Chung mentioned a relationship in which the man she was with was seeing another woman.
“He told me often that he’d be breaking up (with his other girlfriend) soon, and I believed him. But he never did.
“When you’re in that sort of relationship, (for some reason) you can’t seem to walk away from it, ” she said, as reported by the portal.

If that isn’t bad enough, The Twins Effect star recalled an ex-boyfriend who cheated on her with one of her best friends.
A fact Chung learned only because the so-called friend couldn’t resist the urge to tell her about it.
“When I met (that friend) again, years after the whole affair, she still acted as if she’d done nothing wrong, ” the singer said angrily.
In December last year, Chung apparently declared she would never consider marrying again as she's been “deeply scarred” by her ex-husband.
However, she changed her mind by May 2021. While marriage is not out of the question, Chung also said she’s not actively looking for love.
