Dr Mahathir congratulates Siti Nurhaliza on birth of second child

The excitement surrounding the birth of Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza's second child is undeniable, with former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir joining in to express his joy over the news.

In a video message posted on Twitter just hours after the baby's arrival, he shared:

"Assalamualaikum Siti, congratulations on the birth of your second child. May God grant you and your child every good thing."

The 42-year-old singer gave birth to a baby boy at 6.21am on April 19 at a medical centre in Selangor. He weighed 3.84kg.

The Aku Bidadari Syurgamu hitmaker posted an update for her fans on April 20: "I will be undergoing my confinement routine now. I will focus on my baby and make sure we're both healthy."
