Neelofa ties the knot with preacher PU Riz

After months of speculation, TV host-entrepreneur Neelofa, 32, and preacher PU Riz, 26, have officially tied the knot.

The nikah ceremony took place at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur at 11.40am on March 27 in the presence of close family and friends.

Neelofa, who has kept mum about her relationship with Muhammad Haris Muhammad Ismail, or PU Riz, all this while, finally spilled the beans on how they met.

They crossed paths for the first time in June 2017, she told Berita Harian.

"Then we worked together on a project for the first time in 2018. After this collaboration, we didn't stay in contact until a year later," said the Next To Neelofa talk show host.

"So when we met together again, we started getting to know each other more."

Neelofa, clad in an all-white ensemble, also shared the qualities she admires about her husband.

"I feel comfortable talking to him. He's a good listener. And he always tries to find a solution to whatever problems I may be facing."

PU Riz shot to fame in 2016 as a contestant on the fourth season of Pencetus Ummah, a local Islamic reality series.

He has since built his career as an actor and a motivational speaker.
