Staying home to avoid the rapidly rising Covid-19 cases? Here are five new TV shows coming to Malaysians in January:

Bling Empire

Some are calling reality series Bling Empire a cross between Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Crazy Rich Asians.

It follows a wildly wealthy group of Asian and Asian American friends (and frenemies) in Los Angeles. Little is known so far about the cast attached to the project yet.

The show's official description alludes to "fabulous parties and expensive shopping sprees" and plenty of tea to spill. Now pour us a cup already!

Bling Empire premieres Jan 15 on Netflix.

Fighter Of The Destiny

Chen Changsheng's (Lu Han) blood has the miraculous ability to cure all illnesses. Ironically, that very blood is detrimental to Changsheng himself.

Changsheng’s master, the Taoist monk Ji (Eric Tsang), predicts he will never live past the age of 20.

Unwilling to accept this, Changsheng embarks on a journey to find a cure for his condition.

Fighter Of The Destiny is available on Dimsum Entertainment.

Two-part documentary series Tiger traces the rise and fall of prolific golfer Tiger Woods.

The renowned sportsman's years of achievement on the golf course was eclipsed by the news of his multiple infidelities that made headlines in 2009.

The documentary also follows his path to reclaiming his life and career a decade later.

Tiger premieres Jan 11 at 10am on HBO Go and HBO (Astro Ch 411).

A Discovery Of Witches Season Two

The two-year wait is over for fans of this fantasy series, which revolves around a historian who stumbles upon a bewitched manuscript.

Season Two is finally upon us! The new season will see Diana and Matthew, who timewalked at the end of last season, embark on new adventures in 1590s London.

Starring Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode.

A Discovery Of Witches Season Two premieres Jan 9 on Foxlife (Astro Ch 703).

Public relations extraordinaire Robyn must make sure her clients' image remains untarnished and avoid a crisis at all costs.

But what happens when she encounters a crisis of her own? True Blood's Anna Paquin leads the cast.

Flack premieres Jan 22 on Amazon Prime Video.
