K-drama fans stepped in to 2021 with some exciting news – Crash Landing On You (CLOY) co-stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin confirmed they're dating!

Soon after, diligent netizens combed through past interviews and found that Son actually said she would love a man who reminds her of her father.

In 2012, Son was a guest on Late Night TV Entertainment. According to allkpop.com, the actress pointed to an old family photo of hers and said "I am attracted to men who look like my father."

In the photo, Son and her family members were much younger (she was only six). Netizens remarked that Hyun Bin does indeed resemble her father.

Prior to CLOY, Son and Hyun-bin worked together on the 2018 film, The Negotiation.

After the actors' agencies confirmed their relationship status on Jan 1, Son wrote on Instagram: “I’m thankful to have been able to meet a good person, and I’ll work hard to tend [the relationship] with care.”

Back to the family photo, others noted her father also bears a striking resemblance to Train To Busan's Gong Yoo.
