Singer-songwriter Michael Bolton has been picking up new skills amid lockdowns and stay-home orders in America's battle with the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a telephone interview from Connecticut in the United States, the 67-year-old says: "I've learnt how to use a dishwasher, cook pasta and how to put a pillow into a pillow case.
