After news broke that Mouseketeers Charis and Dheena will not be returning for the fourth season of Club Mickey Mouse, the search for a new Mouseketeer has begun.

Club Mickey Mouse is looking for kids between the ages of 13 and 16 who love to sing, dance and host.

If you're interested, take part in the digital audition by making a video introducing yourself and then performing a song and dance. Submit your online audition entry at disney.my.

"Feel free to add your own personal twist – play an instrument, do an a cappella version," read a press statement by Disney Channel.

The newly-minted Mouseketeer will star in the fourth season of the show, out next year.

Club Mickey Mouse is the Malaysian edition of the Mickey Mouse Club, a popular American variety programme that first went on air in the 1950s. Past Mouseketeers include Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.

For audition tips, check out Club Mickey Mouse Malaysia’s official Instagram page @ClubMickeyMouseMY and tune in to Disney Channel (Astro Ch 634).
