Singer Dr. Soo Wincci shares she is working with two international producers, Latin Grammy winner John Gibbe and multiple Latin Grammy nominee Luca Ortega, for her upcoming single.
Soo broke the news on Instagram on June 15, remarking the untitled new track took "months of secret preparation."
The post was accompanied by a photo of Gibbe's Latin Grammy trophy, which he won in 2010 for Best Alternative Album for his work on Hombre Invisible.
Soo later told Harian Metro she met Gibbe while studying at Berkeley College Of Music. "He was my supervisor. It's an incredible honour to work with someone so revered in the latin music industry."
The 34-year-old former beauty queen added she initially planned to record the song with Gibbe and Ortega in Spain but had to cancel due the pandemic.
Nevertheless, Soo has been working on the song virtually with the producers.
She will be filming the music video in July and plans to release the song in August.
