Actress Diana Silvers is building up quite an impressive resume.

Since making her acting debut in an episode of the TV series Into The Dark in 2019, the model-actress has kept the momentum going.

In that same year, the 22-year-old appeared in M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass, Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut Booksmart as well as the psychological thriller Ma opposite Octavia Spencer.

Right now, the Los Angeles native can be seen in the comedy series Space Force (available on Netflix), playing the daughter of Steve Carell and Lisa Kudrow’s characters.

Silvers described the experience of working with the two actors she grew up watching on TV – Carell on The Office and Kudrow on Friends – as a fun one.

“It was really, really easy to work with everybody. I had a chemistry read with Steve Carell for my final round of auditioning, and I think we really just got along and hit it off, right off the bat. He’s a very easy person to talk to and be around.

“And it’s the same with Lisa. We had interacted on Booksmart and we kind of got it (the chemistry) instantly then too. So, I feel like everything was just very meant to be.”

Next up for Silvers is a co-starring role in a Jessica Chastain-led action thriller, Ava, and a leading role in the drama feature Birds Of Paradise.

As a matter of fact, Silvers was in the middle of shooting Birds Of Paradise in Budapest, Hungary, with writer-director Sarah Adina Smith (TV’s Hanna), when the Covid-19 pandemic put the project on hold.

Silvers shared: “We had six days left when we got shut down due to state of the world. At first, it really bummed me out because, you know, I was like, ‘

Oh, we were so close and I’ve put so much of myself into film’. But, now I look at it and I’m like it’s a good thing I’m safe and back home.

“And when we do go back to filming, I feel I’m going to be more prepared because I’ve been doing more research and watching things that have been inspiring me.

“I don’t know if anyone’s seen it, but (10-part documentary) The Last Dance is very, very good.

“That’s what I’m spending a lot of my time on, just watching movies and TV, and reading just kind of trying to be productive for when it is safe to go back to work.”
