Lady Gaga wants your 'Stupid Love' in new single

Lady Gaga is back with her first single in three years, and she's in familiar territory. If you were disappointed with her last studio album (that was not a soundtrack), Joanne, which saw the singer go the country, soft rock route, then her new single Stupid Love will get you excited.

Simply put: the dance diva is back.

The disco-infused single harkens back to one of her earlier hits, Born This Way, and fans can expect more of dance ditties from the Oscar- and Grammy-winning artiste in her upcoming album.

She told Apple Music about the direction of her album: “We are definitely dancing... I want people to dance and feel happy. You know, someone asked me the other day what my goal was with this album and it actually sounds ridiculous when I say it out loud. But I said, 'I would like to put out music... it will become a part of their daily lives and make them happy every single day'."

The single, Stupid Love, was released with an accompanied music video which features Gaga as an alien with pink hair. The video shot entirely on an iPhone by Daniel Askill, who has helmed most of Sia's music videos.

Last year, director Sophie Muller also shot Selena Gomez's video for her No.1 single Lose You To Love Me on an iPhone.
