It is hard to believe that Justin Bieber is almost 26 years old. It has been 10 years since the release of his debut album, My World 2.0. And just like the album he released when he was 16, Bieber's latest effort Changes is also a winner. Released on Feb 14, Changes debuted on the top of the Billboard album.

Bieber is now the youngest solo artiste to have seven No.1 albums, at the age of 25. He broke the previous record set by Elvis Presley 59 years ago; Presley also had seven No.1 albums but at 26.

In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Bieber opened up about the inspiration behind his new album.

Not surprisingly, it is his wife Hailey Baldwin whom he married in November 2018.

"I think she is definitely the reason; there'd be no story without her. She just ties it all together. I mean she (is) giving me substance to talk about, she's the person that I'm learning to love unconditionally, start a family with," the Canadian singer said.

Bieber also got personal and revealed the exact moment he knew Baldwin was "the one".

"I'd seen her at an event. I'd seen her with a baby and something just clicked. It was like, 'Wow, she's the one.'

"I'd kind of decluttered some of my past and I was able to see really clearly. I'd just seen the nurturing look in her eyes toward this baby. I was like, 'I want the mother of my children to look at a baby the way that she was, ' I knew that she could offer that to me."

In January, the singer revealed that he was suffering from Lyme disease. Initially, netizens speculated that perhaps Bieber had drug issues, but he cleared it up with an Instagram post saying people "failed to realise I've been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my skin, brain function, energy, and overall health".

In the interview with Lowe, Bieber said the disease took an emotional toll on him.

"I knew there was something not right because I was doing everything right on tour. I mean, I was keeping to myself. I was keeping on as much of a structured schedule as I could. I was doing the ice bath every day. I was eating salmon twice a day, I was doing the right thing to try to take care of my body.

"(But I) just felt depleted and felt s**ty all the time. And then that took an emotional toll on me.

Bieber also added that he is now undergoing the right treatments and taking the necessary precautions to ensure the disease doesn't worsen.

The music video for Bieber's title track premiered on Apple Music on Monday (Feb 25) in which the singer returned to his hometown, Ontario in Canada for the shoot.

“These videos were all shot in places in nature that meant something to me over the years and I’m thrilled that my fans get to experience the music with these concepts in mind, ” he told Apple Music.
