Actress Deanna Yusoff may not be a mother but she was eager to take on the challenge of portraying a single mother in Singapore’s Independence Day film, 1965.
“An emotion is an emotion. You can feel certain emotions without experiencing the same thing. I had to draw upon emotions that are painful – of losing something or someone and modifying it to suit the fact that I’m losing something that I created or gave birth to,” shared the 48-year-old actress about her role in 1965.
