A Kelantan artist finds poetry in kain pelikat and patriotism

A young artist from Kampung Pulau Panjang, Kota Baru, Kelantan, has marked National Month in his own way - by stitching the Jalur Gemilang from pieces of kain pelikat.

For Muhammad Darwisy Mustafani, 24, the work is more than art. It is his heartfelt tribute to the nation, blending cultural heritage with the Merdeka spirit.
