This first edition of Mary Shelley's classic book 'Frankenstein' sold for RM4.8mil

In an unmissable event for literature lovers, auction house Christie's disbanded part of Theodore B. Baum's impressive collection of books on Sept 14.

Among them was a first edition of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, which sold for US$1.17mil (RM4.8mil).
