MUSIC: WICKED CHIT-CHAT

Date and time: July 17, 8pm

Fancy a "virtual campfire" session? Join the Wicked People Music community tonight at 8pm for an informal chat about early music, the Covid-19 lockdown and how it's affecting the arts and music in particular.

Wicked Musicians will be logging in from different parts of the world, and there will be a bit of live music, discussions and lots of fun. The session will be on Zoom and will also be live-streamed on Facebook.

Admission is free, and no bookings are necessary.

THEATRE: TEARLESS SKY

Date and Time: July 17 and 19, 8pm

Tearless Sky revolves around a cheerful girl (played by well-known Malaysian singer Jessie Chung) who, as a result of doing a good deed, shows up late for work and loses her job in the process.

Devastated and through many twists and turns, she finally finds a job as a caregiver and meets a rich young man. This poignant play will be performed in Mandarin with English and Mandarin subtitles.

DIALOGUE: THE LIM SISTERS

Date and Time: July 17, 8.30pm

Join PenangPac’s first episode of the Dialogue series this Saturday. Three Penang-based sisters, Nathalynn Lim, Ashlynn Lim & Chrisalynn Lim, will share a little of everything via Facebook Live.

The trio, all performing artists, will talk about their artistic journey and experiences as young performers. Find out how they have been keeping busy in these pandemic times.

MOVING WITH ARTISANS

Moving With Artisans is a week-long mixed-art presentation of traditional arts, crafts and skills, with contemporary dance/movements and installation art.

There will be workshops and sharing sessions. Organised and presented by JinnD Productions in collaboration with London-based artist Haffendi Anuar, this event is supported by the Cultural Economy Development Agency (Cendana).
