St Paul's Church in the historical centre of Melaka has come alive with a stirring version of the Christmas classic Silent Night sung by Martin Theseira, a folk singer and Melaka Portuguese cultural activist, and newcomer singer Isabella Georgina.
Amid the ruins of the ancient church built by the Jesuits in the 16th century, the duo have given local flavour to the popular Christmas carol, with lyrics sung in English and the Melaka Kristang language.
