'Lord Of The Rings: The Confrontation' game sends players deep into Middle-earth

Lord Of The Rings: The Confrontation board game review

With the last of The Hobbit films coming out this month, we visit a board game set in Tolkien’s world to get in the spirit.

It began with the writing. The stories of Middle-earth were put down on paper and passed on from generation to generation. In the ways of Men, these were used in animations and cartoons through the years, until the technology of Men caught up with their vision for live-action. So were forged the epic movies. Three were given to the quests of Frodo and the Fellowship. Three still to Bilbo Baggins and the stories of the dwarves and the dragon. Then they made some accessories, games, clothes and action-figures and everyone was happy.
