Pretty paper pots

MAKING this tiny paper pot will give you an idea and feel of the technique of coiling and sticking strips of paper to shape a form. Coil strips round and round (and round!) tightly to form the base. Then build up the sides by positioning and gluing strips over strips leaving a small margin or border over the previous round.

You can produce fairly big pots by coiling a wider base, but be forewarned that it will surely be taxing on your arm and wrist muscles!
