Buffet offers all-time favourites, global dining experience

MUSLIMS break their fast once the sun sets at senja, thus this year the Ramadan buffet at W Kuala Lumpur’s Flock is themed “Bazaar Senja”.

Renowned for its Pan-Asian cuisine and expertly grilled meats, the highlights here include Crying Tiger Wagyu Beef which was tender and smoky, while the Hanoi Lemongrass Chicken was fragrant with zesty herbs.

The Beef Bo La Lot wrapped in aromatic betel leaves was earthy and flavourful, while the Lamb Kebab was juicy.

The satay selection includes Madura-style Beef Satay and Melaka-style Chicken Satay, both grilled to smoky perfection and served with peanut and chilli sauces.

Meanwhile, the Roti John comes with filling options like lobster, Wagyu beef and spicy chicken sausage.

The buffet celebrates kampung flavours, too, offering a selection of all-time favourites.

There is the spiced oxtail broth with tender meat and aromatic spices served with roti benggali for dipping.

Also available are dishes that go well with rice, such as smoky Ayam Percik, tangy Asam Pedas and slow-cooked Pesamah Rusuk Kambing.

The creamy and spicy Masak Lemak Cili Udang Harimau is a must-try, while the Rendang Tok Daging Tulang Rawan was melt-in-the-mouth tender.

The Kacang Buncis Goreng Belacan was tasty, while the sweet-savoury Pajeri Nanas (pineapple) in a mildly spiced curry added a refreshing note.

To complement the mains are a wide selection of ulam and kerabu with dressings that awaken the palate.

To end the meal, try the traditional kuih such as Seri Muka, Lapis, Talam, Keria and Koci.

There is also a diverse array of Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese dishes, ensuring a truly global dining experience.

The buffet, which starts at 6.30pm and is available till March 20, is priced at RM288+ per adult and RM144+ per child.
