Appetising, flavourful set meal for Deepavali

KNOWHERE Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, is presenting its Vannamayamana Theeba Tirunaal (Festival of Colourful Diyas) set menu in celebration of Deepavali.

The restaurant, in wanting to help families present an appetising South Asian meal for their guests, is focusing on main ingredients and key techniques to cook up flavoursome dishes with a modern touch.

Diners can experience Deepavali the way it should be as they light oil lamps (diyas) with family members and feast on an elaborate meal while taking in the festival’s spiritual significance.

The meal itself is a way of paying homage to cultural heritage that lies within each dish.

The Deepavali set menu consists of briyani, chicken curry, fish varuval, mutton curry, fruit acar and laddoo.

Priced at RM178.60+, one set is more than enough to feed up to five people.

The Deepavali set is available until Nov 14 for takeaway and delivery only.

A two-day advance order is required and the last day to place orders is Nov 12.

The contemporary Malaysian cuisine restaurant is located in Jalan Maarof, Bangsar.

Delivery is also possible to areas such as Putrajaya, Shah Alam and Rawang.
