Higher wages the way to go

FORGET about a minimum wage of RM3,100 a month. Malaysians need to be paid more than that if we are to bring substantive change.

The Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) has stirred up a storm by saying the minimum wage needs to be raised from RM1,700 a month to RM3,100 a month.
