WHEN AirBorneo took over MASWings at the start of this year, the move was celebrated as a milestone for Sarawak.
The state would finally have its own airline. The long-term vision was ambitious – to strengthen connectivity within Borneo, support tourism and business growth, and eventually position Sarawak as a regional aviation gateway.
