PRESIDENT Donald Trump, who has long argued that the United States pays more than it should for prescription medicines, says Pfizer had agreed to cut prices for drugs it sells to the Medicaid programme for low-income Americans.

This is also to ensure the United States would not pay more for new medicines than other high-income nations.
