Basic income is inevitable

A BASIC income is cash paid by the government to every woman, man and child individually, unconditionally, every month. It has five core characteristics: paid in cash, to individuals, monthly, universal to everyone in the country and without any conditions.

While the first four elements are more common, the most radical element in the basic income paradigm is “unconditional”.
