MM Computer Systems secures RM51.58mil AI server supply contract

KUALA LUMPUR: MM Computer Systems Bhd (MMCS) has secured a RM51.58mil contract to supply enterprise-grade graphics processing unit (GPU)-accelerated servers.

In a statement, the enterprise IT solutions provider said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Micro Technology Solution Sdn Bhd (MTS), had received and accepted the purchase order from a Malaysian telecommunications infrastructure and data centre services provider.

The servers are designed to support computing-intensive workloads, including generative artificial intelligence (AI), large language model training and inference, deep learning, advanced data analytics and high-performance computing.

“The purchase order is expected to contribute positively to the company’s earnings per share and net assets per share,” MMCS said.

The company said the contract would strengthen its business pipeline amid growing demand for AI and high-performance computing infrastructure.
