PETALING JAYA: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd (RLEB) has received letters of appointments from PETRONAS Research Sdn Bhd (PRSB) to be the panel contractor for the deployment of PRSB chemical technologies for three work packages.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, RLEB said the contracts comprise the supply of raw material for chemical technologies (Package A), provision of chemical blending (Package B) and provision of overall chemical deployment at site (Package C).

“The appointments are for an initial period of three years commencing on 11 September 2026, with an option for PRSB to extend them for a further two years.”

RLEB said the appointments have no fixed contract value and do not guarantee the award of any work orders.

RLEB said it may be invited to participate in mini-bidding exercises for the supply of raw materials, chemical blending and on-site chemical deployment during the appointment period.

RLEB deputy chairman Thien Chiet Chai said the appointment across all three packages positions the group to participate across the chemical deployment value chain, from the supply of raw materials and chemical blending to on-site deployment.
