KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Alliance Bhd plans to launch its Smart Commercial Hub at the NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP) in Selangor in early 2027, with registration expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The property developer, in a statement, said the commercial hub would feature dining, leisure, healthcare and other amenities to support businesses operating within the industrial park.

Spanning about 910 acres, NSIP has a total gross development value (GDV) of RM10.2bil and is located within the Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS).

NCT Alliance said Phase 1 of NSIP had completed its vacant possession handover, while Phase 2, known as KM2, had been launched and was targeted for completion in 2029.

The group also received the Preferred Industrial Park (PIP) Certificate under Invest Selangor's newly introduced PIP Programme during the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026.

The programme aims to attract investors to Selangor's industrial parks through promotional activities and direct referrals.

“We look forward to building on this partnership to attract more investments, forge stronger industry connections and contribute to the continued growth of South Selangor as a key economic growth corridor,” NCT Alliance executive chairman and group managing director Yap Ngan Choy said

He added that the PIP certification reinforced the group's commitment to developing industrial parks that meet the evolving needs of investors and businesses.

Meanwhile, the group is preparing to launch a commercial hub at its second industrial park, NCT Innosphere (NIS), in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah, in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Developed in partnership with Northern Gateway Group of Companies, NIS spans 137 acres within the Delapan Special Border Economic Zone and has an estimated GDV of RM1.1bil.

The development comprises eight phases offering 230 industrial units, including terrace, cluster, semi-detached and detached factories, as well as build-to-suit facilities.

NCT Alliance said the industrial park would provide access to cross-border trade routes linking Malaysia and Thailand, as well as regional logistics networks.
