Kelington bags RM133mil job in Kuching

KUALA LUMPUR: Kelington Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd (KTSB), has been awarded a contract valued at about RM133mil from a customer in relation to its expansion project in Kuching.

It said in a Bursa Malaysia filing that the award encompasses the major structural steel works forming part of the overall advanced data storage manufacturing facility project.

The group announced last Friday that its unit had received a contract from the same customer, a manufacturing company at Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone in Kuching, valued at about RM172mil.

The earlier contract was for the provision of engineering and early-stage infrastructure development for an advanced data storage manufacturing facility.

Kelington said the aggregate value of awards secured by KTSB from the customer for the project previously stood at about RM283mil. With the latest contract win, it now stands at around RM416mil.
